THE STREAMING KIT

The Low Impact Way to Stream

Our streaming kit is designed with a primary objective – to provide reliable, high-quality video and sound to remote viewers with the smallest impact on the normal workflow of the camera crew. We have created a system of live image delivery that is virtually ‘hit play and walk away’ – leaving the Assistant Camera operator free to do their regular job duties. No need to hire extra personnel to operate an on-set streaming system.

Connectivity

Our streaming kit has 4 independent modes of connecting to the internet to deliver your video remotely – 2 cellular modems (differing carriers), WiFi (cellular or local), and hardwired internet. Depending on local on-set conditions, even just one connection is enough to deliver high-quality HD images to viewers, but all 4 can be used simultaneously and in conjunction with each other to deliver the highest quality image possible. Our service will ‘bond’ all four streams together into a single high-quality image. Redundancy pro-videos reliability.

Durability & Reliability

Our streaming hardware is field-proven by years of use in broadcast television news and sporting events. This is not a sensitive laptop that has been set up to stream to the internet as many on-set live stream providers offer. This is durable field equipment meant to withstand the reality of a production on the move. While typically used to stream multiple camera images from ‘video village’ on-set (replicating what you would see in the on-set quad split for instance), our gear can also go mobile with a single camera, so it is great for documentary work.

Compact

The entire kit – streaming device, cables, battery packs, battery chargers, all fit into a single Pelican case that is small enough to be a carry-on bag on airlines (it has wheels!). Of course, the kit/case can be easily shipped to wherever your production may be located (currently U.S. domestic use only).
